Songwriting Circle Sessions

Learn to start songwriting!

Prin offers free and discounted workshops for schools, libraries, community centers, and more to help others explore their interest in songwriting.

Come learn about basic songwriting by using chords and get tips on songwriting prompts for lyrics. Express yourself. Songwriting can be great stress relief and a wonderful outlet to say what you feel in an art form.

Bring a song to share with the group to get feedback, or just come to get a new song started!

Sessions will typically include a 20-minute keyboard-based instructional portion, a 30-minute songwriting circle/writing group session, and a brief songwriting packet for all who attend to take home and continue songwriting basics independently.

Keyboard fun!

Bringing your own instrument is encouraged, but Prin will provide two keyboards for the group to share as part of the class portion. Great for beginners, teens, adults, and anyone curious about writing their own song!
