It’s summer! Time to explore some new interests and hobbies for young minds! If you’ve been considering private piano lessons and want to introduce your child to piano, try my summer piano lessons program! I’m hosting the small group piano lessons in Pequannock, NJ. You get 4 weeks of 40 minute lessons with a maximum of 4 students per group. There are currently 3 available start times – 11AM, 12PM, and 1PM. Keyboards and necessary sheet music are provided. The sessions explore the basics of piano and music in a small group environment at my home in Pequannock, NJ.
I have been teaching music for over 22 years within the traditional classroom and privately. I’m a songwriter, piano player, and music producer with independent music albums and I love being a musician. For over 10 years, I’ve successfully explored music education in small group formats to help students explore the interest in a more interactive way. I use colors, finger numbers, and traditional music theory to meet different learning levels and needs. While I typically accept private students ages 2 through adult, this introduction class is geared for early elementary ages, 5-10. If you would like to start private lessons younger or older, feel free to contact me about my private student schedule for the fall.
Summer Piano in Pequannock, NJ will be $100 per student with no make-up opportunities. If a class needs to be rescheduled or cancelled due to any unforeseeable reason, the schedule will be coordinated with those in your group. If you are interested in registering, contact Prin at 201-755-6238 (text is best) or email: email@example.com and if you are READY TO REGISTER, click on the link to register your child.
A few important notes…
This is not a Mommy and Me music class. Small group piano lessons are drop-off only. We have a friendly dog and cat in the home that are kept away from students during the lesson times. You must register and pay in advance to hold a spot. Private lessons are available in the fall (September). Only current student roster has access to the summer private schedule. This program is for new beginner students only.
Prin wrote, performed, and produced I See You after receiving a lovely piano riff from Peter Nickolas Flores that she loved. The motif became the ear worm instrumental transition in the song that became I See You. With ambient and electronic production, I See You is a love song that works more as a monologue of the questions we ask ourselves when we’re debating how to be vulnerable. It sets a mood. Find it on Spotify and all major streaming. Enjoy it below on YouTube!
This single release was written by Prin, Joy Bleecker Walsh, and Scott McCallister during a fun virtual breakout room on Zoom! They wanted a positive song, focused on inspiring young people to be true to themselves. It’s available on Spotify and all major music streaming.
I’m still using my older music and writing accounts, but I decided to create a new account where I can share my love of the arts, music, writing, and education – all in one spot! I’m also following and supporting more local or specialized organizations. Check it out: @PrinCreates
If you enjoy ambient, meditative, instrumental, sound healing, soundscapes, and yoga tunes, look no further! Before The Calm PRINciples album is out in December, it is available for a free preview on the Disco site! For more info, check out The Calm Principles website.
As part of my new book about integrated calm living with music, writing, and education, I’ve created a new YouTube channel to go alongside with this style. These will be mostly meditative, relaxing, sound therapy, and Hz frequency tools to help with calm living goals. Enjoy!
I’ve started a new niche area of my creative projects, focused on calm living and whole wellness with music, writing, and education. As part of this, I’ve also created a new website that will hold space for those topics a little separate from Music by Prin. Calm Chats with Prin will take place on my Music by Prin Facebook page and will feature special guests who are fellow parents juggling their music careers (and a few other creative folks, too).
Visit The Calm Principles site for more info on my upcoming book, Calm Chats with Prin, and all things creatively calm for musicians, writers, and educators.
