Gustavo Cerati, lead singer and guitarist for Soda Stereo, passed away last week. I wrote an article about his death after being in a coma for several years for Inquisitr. I figured this would be a great place to share with others about Cerati, too.

While many people may not know his name off of the top of his head, his rock influence in Latin pop/rock was legendary. He was also a current artist, involved with other artists like Shakira. So, his songwriting and producer skills were recognized at an international level. Gustavo Cerati’s life spans a career of over 40 years, even though he died at 55, and I find that fact pretty fascinating.

I usually post about musicians I admire. This is someone I admire greatly. He’s worth knowing, especially now.
