I am excited to announce the release of my next book – Celestial Tales: A Cosmic Journey. It comes out on Kindle ebook, paperback, and hard cover on Friday, February 13, 2026! This book will be my 5th publication, and I am thrilled to feature the book cover design and painting illustration art of my daughter – Anastasia Katrinya Sielski.

This book is a compilation of six short stories with celestial metaphors to use cosmic details in storytelling about mental health topics in interpersonal relationships. As I’m passionate about discussing mental health and supporting creative arts to increase wellness, this book is a family-friendly device and a quick read.
Celestial Tales – A Cosmic Journey is a collection of short stories and creative writing, using celestial bodies as metaphors for mindset and mental health. The stories explore feelings through behavioral stereotypes. The collection gives us a glimpse at the beautiful diversity of human minds by equating it to the vast differences within the universe.
These stories humanize the different celestial objects at the focus of each story. From icy comets to stormy clouds, eclipsing moons, burning suns, destructive meteors, and predictable orbits, the celestial bodies provide a template for the mind.
There are six stories:
Celestial Love
The feature story of the compilation uses the sun and moon to follow a romantic sorta fairytale idea without a stereotypical happy ending.
Little Star
A poignant narration about human life on Earth and how we’re all “stars,” but forget to shine until it is sometimes too late.
The Happy Cloud
This clever reminder about staying positive and authentic is a fantastic dialogue starter for families and young children.
A Family of Planets
Pulling from a vague inspiration of mythology and science fiction, this story features Pluto as an outcast within a family dynamic.
Going In Circles
Getting lost in routines and repeating cycles of burnout become central themes in this story as a warning to young people.
Impact
A somber closing, this creative piece is less of a story and more of a letter, a metaphorical comfort space for survivors of violence.
Due to the topics in this book and the importance of making mental health an accessible wellness theme for families, I have made the book family-friendly for ages 10 and up. I highly recommend this quick read for any adult who would like a creative way to discuss mental health.
